Trying to find a Darksiders game trailer?
I first read about Darksiders last week and the first video I saw of it is still, I think the best. I’ve been Googling forever and keep finding the same videos, but not the one I originally watched.
The setup is the focus on the tv news story about the meteors that are landing. It first focuses on the tv in the shop window and then it cuts to the news segmet on the jumbo tron on a building. A meteor comes crashing through and then all hell breaks loose. It focuses on the meteors falling and then some people walking up to one of the meteor craters. That’s when the demon guys start coming out and chasing people down. A huge goliath type demon is shown trashing the place and some of the humans find refuge in an old bus, which gets mangled by the giant demon. Then a lone meteor falls near by that catches the demon’s attention. He stands around a bit and looks at the main character, War, who came out of the meteor. The big dude snarls a bit and starts to charge, that’s when War grabs the handle of his sword and prepares for the fight and the trailer ends.
Anyone see this version before? I can’t find it anywhere!

what do death dreams mean?
ok so i have had a few dreams lately where i actually die in them. my first one wasnt so bad…i cant even remember it properly, but this other one i had–ok so me and a few other people i had never met-plus one of my best friends-were running away from micheal myers-yes that guy from halloween. also not to metion jason voorhees was in it too–the reason of that is because i am a major friday the 13th and halloween fan–anyway–so after a while, all the other people died and it was just down to me and my friend. but we were cornered by the two killers, no one was leaving untill one more person died..and i gave up and let my friend escape. myers was going to kill me but i let jason instead–cuz..y’know, he has a bigger knife and i would die much faster by him. cheesy dream i know lol. but then i turned around and waited for it..my friend started crying and then i felt a sharp-hot pain, i started coughing and choking, then i died. and yes it was one of those dreams when you can actually sort of ‘feel’ it. then i woke up…and fell back asleep again..the next dream was of me going to heaven and my family was there..waiting for me..and there not even dead ;S anyway-that was that one, the other one i had the other night was of me dying with my family again. why do i keep dying in my dreams? and why with my family all the time? also why did that first one feel so real? does anyone know what death in dreams mean? i dont know if i should pay attention to them or not :S

We would need more info to give you a meaningful answer. What sizes of those two boards are you considering? What is your weight, shoe size, and ability level?

There is no BEST board for all riders. It is very specific and requires some details. What might be perfect for one rider may be unusable for another.

Here are some general tips.

Where your nose is, does not determine what size of snowboard you should ride!

…or your chin, ears, shoulders or any other body part for that matter. These are the silliest rules for sizing boards that could possibly be imagined, and yet they persist. We hear new ones everyday, "my friend told me that a board should come to in between my chin and my nose." Why, are you planning to nibble on it? These generalities are good ways to end up with a completely inappropriate board. Why do such rules exist, you ask? It is due to the fact that finding the right board takes a bit of research and knowledge. The easy way, however incorrect, is much quicker. A snowboard reacts to only two factors, how much pressure is being applied to it (weight), and where that pressure is coming from (shoe size). Boards are designed around riders of a certain weight. The total weight range for a given board will be around 50 pounds (although manufacturers tend to exaggerate this range to make their products sellable to a wider variety of customers). Two men who stand six feet tall and have their noses at identical heights, may be separated by 100 pounds of weight. This would change the boards they should ride by two entire categories of stiffness, and length. You will also want to make sure that the board is appropriate for your shoe size. One half to three quarters of an inch of overhang (yes, overhang) off the edge of your board is ideal (when wearing snowboard boots, and measured at the stance angle that you will ride). We will discuss this more below when we address width in detail.

There is no best level of stiffness for a board!

At least five times a day we hear,"the guy at mountain told me that I want a soft board." This is the part that we were discussing above that relates to weight. Snowboards react to pressure that is applied to that hourglass shape (sidecut) that they have. This shape, when flexed, creates an arc on the snow. You are planning on turning on that arc. If you can’t flex the sidecut into the snow (because the board is too stiff for you) you simply can’t turn well, or not at all. If the board is too soft for your weight, it will constantly be overflexing, and "twisting off" of the edge that you are relying on to carve. In this scenario you will have a terrible time on hardpack and ice, because the "effective edge" (amount of edge that should be in contact with the snow) will be twisted out of shape, and not doing it’s job. Softer flexing boards tend to be better for lighter riders, while stiffer boards are needed for the big boys. Only for extreme freestyle, or extreme race applications, should this rule be broken (and in those instances, a second board will be needed for all mountain riding).

Buying by length is the hardest way to end up with the right board!

"My last board was a 156, and I liked it, so tell me about the 156’s that you carry." The trick here, is that two boards of identical length, may be designed for completely different riders and types of riding. For example a 156 may be a "big mountain board" for a small woman, or a "park" board for a big guy, depending on the manufacturer’s design plan. Those two boards, however, would never be appropriate for the same rider. Length is often discussed in terms of: longer equals faster, and more stable, while shorter equals more maneuverable. This can also be deceptive. The "running surface" of a board (the base area that contacts the snow) is a useful measurement, because this is the amount of board that you actually are riding upon. The overall length (the measurement usually considered) can be misleading, as it also contains the raised tip and tail, which do not contact the snow, and have only nuance differences in affecting your ride. Your best bet is research. Look into who the board was made for, and for what type of riding. Leave the rules of thumb to the rental guys, who are trying to get through the line of renters as quickly as possible, and get on the slopes (can’t blame ‘em for that).

Giving Birth without a Birthing Partner?
Hello all! I know im planning ahead slightly, im not due until August, just over 3months pregnant, though obviously i have been thinking about "the big day"- and it looks as though im not going to have a birthing partner when i go into labour! I feel mentally strong, although naturally like most women i am scared about giving birth- this is my first child might i add, so i dont quite know what to expect. I would just like to ask, have any of you ever given birth alone?? If so, what was your experience of it? And even if you havent given birth alone, what’s your thoughts on it- do you think you would be able to cope without any moral support?? I’m just wondering… Im 20 years old, expecting my first. You’re gonna be fine! I had my first in PR and over there at the time, they didn’t allow partners. they wisp you away to a delivery room and u give birth with ur ob and the nurses. I am having my second now and my husband is gonna be there. But it wasn’t that bad. Ypu’re not really alone, the nurses are trained to be really good and helpful and plus as time goes by you will develop a great relationship of trust with ur OB. Good luck!

I had a child when I was 18 (I am now 24 and hoping for another) When I gave birth to my child, I had my mother and sister in the room with me (the father wasn’t around anymore) Honestly, I could have done it alone, but hearing their encouragement and having those familiar faces with me made it all so much easier and honestly it made it even more special because I was able to share my feelings with people who understood me and what I was feeling! ok the story continues on..
as the new year approaches, i kept texting her for 1 week but she never replied, on new year’s day, i texted "happy new year" but she also didn’t reply.so i just stopped texting her for 3 days and then school came…

on the first day of school of 2010, we got to talk after school and it was ok, she was her usual self except the fact that when i asked her why she wasn’t replying in the holidays, this was her answer"no, i was replying, you’re the one who’s not replying", i just felt stupid for her lying to me like that, like she didn’t care about my feelings…

so i decided to forget her and just try to move on, i didn’t talk or text her for 1 week and 2 days, apparently, my friend that also likes her(if you read the first part of the story) also decided to move on and forget her since she’s acted like nothing happened between me and her and her and my friend on the overrnight trip we had(in the first part of the story) but i realized i couldn’t forget her, i tried but i couldn’t, i deleted all of her messages,pictures and anything that reminds me of her but i still couldn’t so one night i just texted her and the very next day in school, we started talking again, we were back what we were before the overnight trip…

then one day, i found out that my friend the likes her started talking to her again so i realized we were back to what we started, a love triangle!for a week that continued, me and my friend competed for her, she would spend time with and she would spend with my friend too, she gave us equal attention..

then one day, i just noticed she started avoiding me, replying to my texts less than before, so i thought maybe she was choosing my friend over me, then on one saturday, my friend threw a party in his house and she came to the party so i got to talk to her about what happened between us in the overnight trip and she also asked me for why i suddenly stop talking to her in the first week of school, she told she was kinda mad at me the day after the trip because she felt like was taken advantage of so i told her im sorry again and she accepted it but i felt like she just wants to forget about what happen between us in the overnight trip, like she regrets it or something, she didn’t get to talk about anything else because she had to leave…

the following week, on monday, it was my b-day, we were okay that day, the next day(tuesday), i asked her if i could walk her home, she said no and my friend that likes her comes along and asked her the same question and she said ok.so i just went home devastated and i questioned my self again if should still go for her, the next day(wednesday) during lunch time, i apporached her because she was alone but she gave me the "not you again" face expression but i went on to eat lunch with her and her best friend, while eating, i was talking to her and she didn’t seem to care about what i was saying, she would look away most of the time and on that night she didn’t reply to my texts.

so today(thursday), this morning i talked to her but again she acted like she didn’t care and was kinda annoyed of me so the whole day, i was kinda feeling down and sad, after school she approached me and we talked, she told me that she told my friend that likes her to just be friends with her then i asked her "why?", she said" because he expects too much from me and i don’t think i can give back the same amount of love and attention he gives me so i think we’re better off friends" then i asked her "do you feel the same way about me?", she said "yeah", then i told her "i can wait" and she just giggled and smiled and changed the subject, then i tried to talk about the overnight trip again but again changed the subject. she also told she’s confused about stuff so i didn’t ask her out yet on valentine’s day which i was planning to ask her.so tomorrow’s friday then after that it’s our chinese new year holidays, im afraid im not gonna be able to talk to her in person again until school comes back so i got a few questions in my mind which i may need your help..

1)about how things are going between us, do you think i should still go for her?(i mean i really like her)
